Getting started

How do I create my wedding?+

Sign in with your email (we'll send you a magic link — no password to remember), then fill in your wedding date, venue, and budget on the dashboard. That's it — your task checklist gets seeded automatically based on your date.

Do I need to add my partner separately?+

Not yet — for now, one account manages the wedding. Inviting collaborators (bridesmaids, parents, your planner) so they can see and update things themselves is on our roadmap.

Tasks

Where did my checklist come from?+

When you set your wedding date, we seed a standard Irish-wedding checklist (booking the venue, celebrant, photographer, and so on) with due dates worked backward from your date.

Can I add notes to a task, like a supplier's name and number?+

Yes — click the pencil icon on any task to add notes. That's also what carries over automatically if you link the task to a budget item, so you're not retyping the same details twice.

What does the piggy bank icon do?+

It sends you to the Budget page with that task's title and notes already filled in, so booking details you've already typed don't need retyping as a cost line.

Guests

Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?+

Yes — download the CSV template from the Guests page, fill it in, and upload it. A row with a name in the "Plus One Name" column adds both people as their own guests, each trackable individually.

How do guests RSVP?+

Copy your wedding site link from the dashboard and share it. Guests find their name, respond, and can leave dietary requirements — no account needed on their end.

Is guest dietary or health information kept private?+

Yes. Only you and anyone you've given access to your wedding can see it — it's never public, and it's protected the same way as the rest of your account data.

Budget

What's the difference between deposit, interim, and balance?+

It matches how most Irish venues and suppliers actually invoice: a deposit to secure the booking, sometimes an interim payment partway through, and the final balance closer to the day. Track all three per budget line, with due dates.

Suppliers & billing

What's included for free?+

Tasks, guests, budget tracking, and your public wedding site are free for one wedding. The supplier directory/enquiry workflow and the seating planner are part of the paid Full/Concierge unlock.

Is it a subscription?+

No — Full and Concierge are one-time payments. You'll use this for about a year, so we don't think a subscription makes sense.
